To change that code, we use the command ssbsprom i ssb_sprom_copy o new_ssb_sprom_copy subv 0x103Cto write the HP vendor ID to our working copy.

Once the SSB_SPROM variable matches the path to ssb_sprom for your device, working copy of the sprom contents are the way you want them, and presumably correct, you are ready to rewrite the file.

but have been installing two wireless networks in our house this week worked out cheaper with six of us for three to one NTL 1mb connnection and three to another. Perhaps someone else could help. However, that be because, after did your suggested fix, logged into the internet while the laptop was in the same room as the wireless router about feet away from it! was originally trying to log in with the laptop it in another room. None of the available boxes should be ticked. Do you know that were all in line for succession to the throne? Really?

maybe thats also problem?Ill try it again in different room tonight and see how that goesThanks for all your help! Perhaps someone else could help.

BestC Post Extras 226933 PM Edit Reply Quote Quick Reply Sorry, should have been clearer! Your wireless network effectively runs off the router.
